Some of those out there will not like to hear what I have to say. Have you ever looked around and realized how much you could change around you? How much can you manipulate and change? How many choices do you have in everyday life?
You have free will which means (for the most part) you have the power and ability to change what you do not like in your life.
This began to be clear to me as I went for a walk back in 2018 and realized that I don't need to turn around, I could keep going if I so chose. I realized this as I went to school and worked multiple jobs so I wouldn't have to pay student loans. I have learned that I can do whatever I want, I just have to be aware of the "cost"/consequences. This idea cemented as I learned Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and became a Mindfulness Practitioner, and learned skills pertaining to this.
You have the ability to change your surroundings and change your life. Have you ever heard the statement "those who have jumped off a bridge and survived stated while they fell, they realized all of their problems could be fixed"? It does take a lot of work but it is very often worth it. We have the choice to start incorporating personality traits we wish we had, we can start learning to talk to ourselves and others differently, and we can move around/change social groups. After all, if you do not experience a little bit of uneasiness/discomfort- you are not growing. We all have the ability to make big and/or small changes in our lives, we just need the confidence to do so. I think often what holds us back is that we like to live in a surrounding that we know, even if it makes us unhappy - stay with the devil you know.
You can learn to be happy, you can make changes in your life- you only have to choose and follow through. Each day is a new day for growth and for change, each day you can aim to do and be better than yesterday, to be true to who you are.
You can choose to live a happy life, to let your issues live in the past and learn how to be happy with today. You can choose to make changes needed in your life to become happy- and you can choose if you will live a life true to yourself.

You have the choice, you can choose to live life happy, or you can choose to live life miserable.
